Content Management System (CMS) Access


CMS access is required for all SEO clients. The SEO team can conduct its services on various CMS, including WordPress, Wix, Shopify, and more. If there is a specific CMS you would like access information for, please contact your account manager. Choose from the CMS that your client has below:



WordPress

Step 1: Go to your WordPress admin page and log in to your website. Once you are in the WordPress dashboard, click on Users in the left panel. 

Step 2: Towards the top of the screen, click Add New. - Enter User Name and Email Address. We recommend a Username such as Admin or Reporting Ninja, for proper white labeling. The first name, last name, and website are not necessary and can be skipped. 

Step 3: Enter a secure password, and keep Send User Notification so that we can receive an email with login information. 

Step 4: Set permissions as Admin. 



Wix

Step 1: Log into the backend of the website, and go to Navigate to Roles & Permissions. Select Add Contributor and enter the admin@reporting.ninja email address. 

Step 2: Select admin as the role, and send the invitation. 



Shopify 

Step 1: Go to Settings and then User Permissions, within your Shopify Admin account

Step 2: Click Add Staff, where you can enter the name and email address of the person you would like to share access to. This is where you can add the admin@reporting.ninja email. 

Step 3: Once the invitation is sent, this will notify us to create an account where we can sign into the website



Squarespace

Step 1: Navigation to the Settings tab and select Add Contributor

Step 2: Enter the email address and user name into the related fields. The email address should be admin@reporting.ninja and a white label username, such as Admin or Reporting

Step 3: Grant Administrator permission access and send the invitation
